Updated video script Quantum Entanglement
Here is an updated version of my video script, im pretty sure ill be using this one, with freedom for some editing for any funny wording :)
Hi my name is AmeAmor and today I am going to be talking to you about quantum entanglement theory
So lets talk quantum
Quantum entanglement is described as a physical phenomenon that occurs when pairs or groups of particles are generated or interact in ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be described independently of the other...or as einstein put it “spooky action at a distance”
Lets take a deeper look into this by first looking at superposition
Superposition is the principle that we do not know the exact position of something until it is checked or observed, and there is a fifty percent chance that the said object can be in either or position which in our case is up down or down up.This will make more sense in a minute...
Entangled particles depend on one another to determine spin so
When you measure and determine the direction of one particle, since the particles are entangled, you will simultaneously know the direction of the other entangled particle (faster than the speed of light the particle will communicate with the other entangled photon the direction of itself, and in response the other entangled photon will respond with an opposite spin)
….The two electrons have Opposite direction but they do not have a direction of their own….these particles can be light years apart
So what do you think,,, interesting right…. but let's put this in terms that we can all understand : let’s use the classic example of schrodinger's cat If we take a cat, imagined as being enclosed in a box with a bomb that has a 50% chance of going off once the lid is opened... the cat is considered (according to quantum mechanics) to be simultaneously both dead and alive until the box is opened and the cat observed. If we place these two boxes at opposite ends of the universe, we will not know if the two cats are dead or alive, once we open one box and the cat is let’s say alive, then we will immediately know that the other cat is in fact dead according to quantum mechanics, since we are using these cats as an example for quantum entanglement.
With the new scientific discoveries in quantum mechanics, scientific advances are being found that can help advance our world for more efficient movement, such as teleportation or for you sci fi fans “beam me up Scotty” This idea is possible through Quantum teleportation where quantum information (the exact state of an atom or photon) can be transmitted (exactly, in principle) from one location to another, with the help of classical communication and previously shared quantum entanglement between the sending and receiving location.
